Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator RDA Te Aroha - (Home Based Role)

We're looking for a creative and organised Fundraising Coordinator to help plan and manage fundraising activities, marketing, and social media, supporting our small but passionate team.

Your Role would be to

  • Plan and manage targeted fundraising activities throughout the year.
  • Develop a fundraising strategy for Committee approval.
  • Manage social media accounts to support fundraising (in collaboration with the Operations Manager).
  • Maintain key fundraising resources, including Give a Little pages and promotional materials.
  • Oversee marketing activities related to fundraising.
Requirements:
  • Must be a NZ Citizen or resident.
  • Marketing or fundraising experience.
  • Event planning experience or strong interest in event coordination.
  • Confidence and comfortable managing social media accounts and online fundraising platforms.
  • Able to create and present funding strategies for Committee approval.
  • Basic content design skills to support marketing efforts.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • Flexible, based on your availability.
  • Attend and prepare for Committee meetings as needed.
  • Around 5 hours per month managing social media and fundraising tasks.
  • About 10 days per year for planning and running targeted fundraising events.
