Emergency Volunteering

Emergency volunteering descriptive image

Volunteers fulfil a range of roles in an emergency, including community coordination, practical tasks, welfare, logistics, intel services and more, and come from all walks of life. Devoting your time to volunteering with Civil Defence can be both rewarding and challenging.

Volunteering Waikato maintains a database of people who are happy to be contacted for assistance in the event of a Civil Defence, or other, emergency.
