At Te Aroha and District Riding for Disabled our mission is 'To improve mobility and heighten confidence by fostering and encouraging a sense of achievement'. We provide horse-based therapy for people of all ages living with a range of disabilities.
Use your financial and accounting skills to help our organisation make a positive impact on our community of riders who have special needs and abilities.
Do you enjoy leading a team of motivated and engaged people who are passionate about and committed to their organisation? We are looking for someone to join our committee with the goal of becoming our President when ready.
Do you have secretarial skills, an interest in committee processes, and want to help our wonderful organisation?
Help keep our young riders safe. Support them to have fun through the activities they do and enable them to grow confidence and self-esteem.
Bring your strategic thinking and experience to our organisation. We are seeking a proactive, skillful person to help guide and advise our organisation and help position our local Riding for the Disabled for a bright future.
Help us reach more riders and change more lives. Volunteer to work with horses and people with disability who, through your encouragement and support, will gain essential personal and life skills.
