Volunteer Gardener – Freeman’s Court (Te Awamutu)
Freeman’s Court is looking for a caring and reliable volunteer gardener to help keep our shared outdoor spaces looking welcoming for our residents. Your support will make a real difference in creating a calm, beautiful environment that our community can enjoy.

The role includes general garden care such as weeding, light pruning, and keeping the garden areas tidy. No lawn mowing is required.

If you enjoy being outdoors, have a passion for nurturing green spaces, and want to brighten someone’s day through your mahi, we’d love to have you as part of our Freeman’s Court community.

Requirements:
  • Enjoy working outdoors and caring for plants and gardens.
  • Reliable and able to commit to agreed times.
  • Physically able to carry out light gardening tasks (weeding, pruning, tidying).
  • Positive and friendly approach to being part of a community environment.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • Flexible, A few hours on a day that works for you.
  • Or regular sessions, such as one to two days per week.
