Freeman Court
Freeman Court is an independent living facility for older people in the heart of Te Awamutu, part of the charity Habitat for Humanity Central North Island. Up to 44 people choose to live here without the stress of managing a household. We take care of meals, cleaning, laundry and are here 24-hours to help reassure and support residents.
Is walking and talking one of your many skills? How would you like to bring some joy, and exercise, into the life of an older person? We're looking for someone to lead our walking bus on some adventures!
Deliver healthy, affordable meals to older people, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals on a week day.
Do you have an art and craft skill you'd love to share with our residents? Could you bring a bit of fun, inspiration and a sense of accomplishment into their day? Come and facilitate an arts and crafts class.
