Working Hours

If you have an arts and crafts skill you'd love to share with others, we'd love to hear from you! We are looking for people who could facilitate a session with our residents once a week during working hours. Bringing your skills and knowledge into our organisation means we can offer a wide range of activities that give our residents a sense of fun and achievement. Creating something is very satisfying too.
All materials are supplied once we know what you need.
The only limitation is your imagination. Sessions are supported by staff and we'd welcome ideas that can be completed within the 1-2 hours time frame allocated.

Requirements:

You must be able to communicate with our residents and be able to facilitate a session so that those attending can follow along and feel included and encouraged. So the ability to structure your instructions and the steps involved is important.
Ideally you are good with elderly residents, have great listening skills, lots of patience and are reliable.
Must be double vaccinated as you are engaging with a vulnerable group of people.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

One or two hours per week regularly - or a one-off session.

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
