Music knows no bounds. It reaches across ages, abilities, and experiences to bring people together.
For Mr M, music isn’t just a hobby. It’s a lifeline. A country music lover in his early 50s with a cheeky sense of humour, a laid-back vibe, and a heart as big as his love for a good guitar riff. On any given day, you might find him tapping his foot to a classic tune, cracking a well-timed joke, or strumming a few chords on his guitar as he dreams of getting better and better.
Mr M lives with both physical and intellectual disabilities, but that’s just part of the picture. What truly defines him is his passion for music, his love of people, and his desire to keep learning and sharing moments of joy. He’s been working on his guitar skills and would love someone to help him keep growing, attend local country music clubs or events, and maybe even learn a few new songs together.
He’s not looking for a support worker. He’s looking for a mate. Someone who’ll turn up with kindness, patience, and a big ol’ sense of humour. Someone who sees the person first and who believes that connection, laughter, and music can light up a life.
If you believe that too, and want to help someone chase a dream they can’t quite reach on their own, then joining Mr M on his journey might just be the perfect fit for you.
Come as you are. Bring your love of music, your open heart, and your willingness to be present, and help write the next verse in Mr M’s story.
