Spruce Up Crew Needed - Hospice Shop Hamilton

Hamilton

A Little Help for a Big Cause
Our small Hospice retail shop on River Road (right by Fairfield Bridge) needs a quick refresh — and we’re looking for a few hands-on helpers to jump in for a one-off project.

If you’re someone who wants to volunteer but can’t commit long-term, this is your moment.

  • We’re after 2–3 people to help us:
  • Take down some wall fixtures
  • Do a bit of light painting and wallpapering
  • Set things back up, ready for reopening
  • That’s it — short, practical, and meaningful.

We’re hoping to get it done the week of 21 July or 28 July — whatever works best for you. It’s a great little project for a couple of mates or a community-minded duo.

If this sounds like you (or almost like you!), give us a call. Just a few hours of your time will help keep Hospice care free and accessible for families across the Waikato.

Requirements:
  • Fun, hardworking people who are keen to help a very worthwhile cause
  • Comfortable using basic tools (or happy to give it a go!)
  • Able to lift light items and move around the space
  • No special skills needed — just a good attitude and willingness to pitch in
  • Ideal for friends, couples, or a small team who enjoy getting stuck in and seeing instant results
Time commitment:
  • Any assistance would be appreciated
  • Ideally 1–2 days during the week of 21 July or 28 July
  • Flexible based on your availability
  • Come for a full day or just a few hours — every bit helps!
