Volunteer Role: Membership Administrator (Immediate Start)

The Coromandel Heritage Trust is looking for a committed and organised volunteer to join our team as a Membership Administrator.
This key role helps support the heart of our heritage community — our members — by managing sign-ups, renewals, communication, and record-keeping. You’ll work closely with the Board and wider team to ensure our membership base is connected, supported, and growing.

Key Tasks Include:

  • Maintaining and updating membership lists
  • Sending out renewal reminders
  • Responding to member enquiries
  • Assisting with AGM communications and reporting

You don’t need to be a tech expert, but being confident with technology will definitely help.

Whether you have admin experience, a passion for history, or simply want to contribute to a kaupapa that protects our taonga and stories — we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements:
  • Administration experience
  • Confident using Microsoft and Google Drive (email, spreadsheets, docs, etc.)
  • Knowledge of online systems is a bonus (e.g. Shopify, Mailchimp)
  • Willingness to learn new systems
Time commitment:
  • Approx. 2–3 hours per week commitment
