Brain Injury Waikato is seeking a lawyer experienced in the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 and Registered Charities to provide pro bono support in updating our constitution to comply with the new legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and advise on revisions to our constitution under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022.
• Ensure alignment with registered charity regulations.
• Offer ongoing legal guidance throughout the transition.

Alternatively we would welcome expression of interest to bring your experience and knowledge to our governance board.

Requirements:

Bar registered Lawyer with experience in Incorporated Societies Act 2022 and Registered Charities Act

Time commitment:
  • 2-10 hours for consultation for our constitution.
  • 2-3 hours per month as a board member (should this be something that is suitable)
