Brain Injury Waikato Inc
We empower people and families affected by brain injury through the provision of advocacy, support and education. We also raise awareness and promote prevention of brain injury in the community.
We provide face to face meetings with clients, family and whanau, advocacy on behalf of clients at ACC, Work and Income, Housing NZ, Probation, Correction Services, medical consultations and assessments, court and other social services, ongoing client and family whanau support, provision of relevant updated information, including quarterly newsletters, raising awareness and promote prevention of brain injury through regular expos, displays, events and presentations, monthly Support Group meetings, Living with a Brain Injury seminars and Community Educational workshops for clients, family, whanau and carers.
