We are looking for volunteers who may like to join our "Partners in Care" consumer committee. To participate you will have had experience of the Hospice Waikato service as a consumer, consumer support person, or consumer advocate.
The intended duty of this group is to collaborate together, using collective wisdom, valued feedback, and ideas to improve and co-create optimal services for our patients and their whaanau.
Together we can ensure future clinical services that are patient centric, equitable, responsive and of high quality to meet patient and whaanau needs.
We meet quarterly from 12.30pm - 2pm.
The set dates for 2024 are:
Tues 21st May
Tues 20th August
19th November
With Lunch included!
The meetings are held at Hospice Waikato, 334 Cobham Drive.
Able to attend meetings in person
A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
1.5 hours quarterly
