We need support on a regular basis with maintaining our community gardens and general maintenance of tools.
This involves mowing a small amount of lawn, weed eating, weed maintenance, composting. We are all volunteers and all help out, we just need someone on a regular basis to make sure things are kept in order.
Raising seedlings, planting seedlings and loving the plants is a big part of things.
Some experience for this role is appreciated with knowledge of organic style gardening techniques as we do not use pesticides or poisons.
Must love gardening
Have some knowledge of what's a weed and what's not
Must love getting dirty and have a love for plants and trees
Open to medicinal and rongoa plants
Bring a hat, a drink and sunscreen and your creative spirit
Must be honest and be able to work unsupervised and reliable
