Van Driver & Collection Volunteer
We’re looking for someone to drive our van, deliver items, and collect donations from the local community. The role involves some heavy lifting, so a bit of strength and stamina helps.

You’ll be based at our Lake Road Store and join a practical, friendly team. You’ll be out and about, moving things, connecting with people, and helping raise funds that directly support our Hospice patients.

This is an active role where you can get involved, work with a team, and see the results of your effort in your community.
Training and support are provided, just bring reliability, energy, and a willingness to get stuck in.

Requirements:
  • Friendly, reliable, and comfortable interacting with people.
  • Good conversational English to talk with customers and thank them for donations.
  • Physically fit, as the role involves lifting and moving items.
  • NZ Full Class One driver’s licence.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • Shifts available Monday to Thursday.
  • We ask for a commitment of one shift per week.
  • Each shift is approximately 6 to 8 hours.
  • Volunteers commit for a minimum of 3 months.
