Te Aroha

Admin & Volunteer Coordinator – Riding for the Disabled, Te Aroha
We’re a small, tight-knit community with a big heart, and our riders rely on a team of volunteers to make every session possible. That’s where you come in.

This role isn’t about ticking boxes – it’s about people. About knowing who needs a hand, keeping things running smoothly, and helping our volunteers shine. If you love organising, taking the lead, and supporting others without needing the spotlight, this could be your perfect fit.

A little bit about the role

  • You will be the heartbeat of our volunteer team – coordinate rosters, make sure people are in the right place at the right time, and keep things flowing.
  • Support and connect – Answer questions, cheer on volunteers, and make sure everyone feels valued.
  • Welcome new team members – Guide them through their first steps and help them feel part of something special.
  • Keep us organised – Maintain accurate records and keep info up to date.
  • Grow our volunteer family – Help recruit and bring new energy into our team.
Requirements:
  • You’re reliable, approachable, and enjoy working with people – and you listen as much as you talk.
  • You’re organised and enjoy keeping things running smoothly.
  • You’re patient, encouraging, and love supporting others to do their best.
  • Some admin experience is helpful, but it’s not a must – we can show you the ropes.
  • If you’re looking to fill your days with something hands-on that leaves you feeling good at the end of it, this role could be just right for you.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • Approximately 1–2 hours per week.
  • You’re welcome to do more if you like, but even a small contribution helps us keep things running smoothly. We’d really appreciate having someone on board.
