Christmas at the Lake is a family-focused event happening on Saturday, 13 December, from 5:30 PM to 9:45 PM at Innes Common, Hamilton Lake.

This free event features:

  • Over ten ethnic dance groups
  • Free face painting for kids
  • Santa giving away lollies
  • Food stalls, slides, and rides
  • Fireworks and loads of fun for the whole family.

We are looking for a volunteer Video Camera Operator to capture everything happening on stage and stream it live to the large LCD screen. A professional video camera will be set up and ready to go for you to capture the event.

By participating in this volunteering opportunity, you will help achieve the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goal:

  • Goal 11 – Sustainable Cities & Communities.
Requirements:
  • Ideally you will have experience in operating a video camera.
  • Reliable with good time management skills.
Time commitment:
  • We expect you to be there at 5:00PM for a smooth start at 5:30PM.
  • The event starts at 5:30 PM and goes until 09:45 PM with spectacular fireworks.
