Be the friendly face of change – help raise awareness about endometriosis!
As an Expo Ambassador, you'll represent our organisation at community events and expos, sharing vital information about endometriosis in a warm and engaging way. This is a fun, interactive role where you'll meet lots of people, make a real impact, and soak up the buzz of the event atmosphere.

What You’ll Do:

  • Chat with members of the public and provide clear, accurate information about endometriosis.
  • Help break down stigma and raise awareness in a positive, approachable way.
  • Support our team by creating a welcoming and informed space.

This role is most suitable for female volunteers, as you will be speaking to other people about a sensitive health issue.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Confident liasing with the general public.
  • General knowledge about endometriosis an advantage but full training will be given.

Knowledge, Skills & Personal Qualities:

  • Friendly, approachable and reliable.
  • Comfortable communicating with people from different backgrounds.
  • Good listening skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ideally access to email, txt, phone and Facebook.
  • Capable of standing and engaging with the public on a 3-hour roster.
Time commitment:
  • A shift of 3 hours for each expo.
  • 1.5 hour training at commencement; every 2-3 years as required.
