The Rauhī Project is a not-for-profit organisation that delivers inclusive and freely accessible music education to communities of high deprivation. Our Community Choir runs Mondays and Wednesdays after-school at Nawton Primary School, offering a FUN and FREE programme for students to gain confidence, social skills, teamwork, and musical knowledge.

In this role you will assist our Community Choir tutor by:

  • Helping set up and pack down instruments
  • Encouraging engagement in the lessons
  • Directing students in singing and basic percussive instruments
  • Assisting with student behaviour management
  • Having fun!
Requirements:

No experience or specific skills required, although experience with children is preferred, and any musical knowledge is a great advantage. Positive, kind, bubbly, patient and enthusiastic. Ability to speak and understand English at a confident level is required.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Our Community Choir runs two days a week from 2.40pm until 5.10pm, Mondays and Wednesdays. The role is available immediately!
