Sales Assistant - Te Awamutu

Help our housing focused organisation raise much needed funds for housing projects that give people a hand up in life while you learn retail skills including till work, EFTPOS and customer service. You will be assisting the volunteer team in the recycled goods store, either sorting or selling goods. Our store operates Monday - Saturday and our volunteers enjoy working in a friendly, team environment. There may be opportunities to take on a more responsible role for the right applicant, if interested.

Requirements:

Some retail experience would be good, however training is available for the right person.
Good people and communication skills.
Friendly, outgoing with common sense.
Reliable and trustworthy.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

Half or full day shifts Monday - Saturday depending on your avalability.
