World Refugee Day Event Volunteers

World Refugee Day is back in 2025! This is a special day led by former refugee communities to honour resilience, strength, and belonging through a cultural celebration filled with music, food, dance, and stories. Waikato Refugee Forum are looking for volunteers to support our event.

We Need Volunteers Who Can:

• Assist with welcoming and registering guests as they arrive.
• Assist with face painting and managing crowds.
• Support the coordination and supervision of games to keep children and young adults entertained and involved.
• Staff event tables by providing information, handing out materials, or helping with interactive activities.
• Help with setting up booths and displays.
• Contribute to post-event cleanup.
