Looking for a hands-on way to make a difference while bonding with your colleagues or friends? We're inviting corporate groups and teams to roll up their sleeves and join us for a day of planting at Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park, right next to the zoo!

Our Goal: To plant 3,000 native plants in an area that's already been nurtured for over 20 years by dedicated volunteers. Together, we’ll help restore and enhance this beautiful natural space.

This event will run from 10:00am – 1:30pm but could wrap up earlier depending on the number of volunteers.

Ready to dig in and make a difference? Sign Up TODAY! Let’s make 13th June a day to remember!

Requirements:

We advise volunteers to wear appropriate clothing for working outdoors – you will get dirty.

Things to Bring:

  • Gumboots or closed shoes
  • Gardening gloves
  • Spade (but we can also provide some on the day)
  • Your own snacks, water and food to keep you fuelled throughout the day!
