Team Planting Day at Waiwhakareke!
Looking for a hands-on way to do something good and have a great time with your workmates or mates? Come join us for a day of planting at the beautiful Waiwhakareke Natural Heritage Park — right next to the zoo!

Who’s it for?
Corporate groups, teams of friends, or any crew keen to get outdoors and give back together.

Our Goal:
We’re aiming to plant 3,000 native plants in an area lovingly cared for by volunteers for over 20 years. It’s your chance to be part of something that lasts.

When:

  • Friday 13th June
  • From 10:00am – 1:30pm (with a lunch break around 12pm)
We might wrap up a little earlier or later depending on how many helping hands show up!

So grab your gumboots, bring your team spirit, and let’s make it a day to remember.
Sign up today — we’d love to have you with us!

Requirements:
  • Gumboots or sturdy closed shoes – it’s going to get muddy!
  • Gardening gloves – keep those hands happy
  • Spade – bring one if you’ve got one (we’ll have extras too)
  • Your own snacks, water, and lunch – fuel your day the tasty way!
  • We advise wearing outdoor-friendly clothes — you’re bound to get a little muddy (and have a lot of fun)!
