Hope Rising Farm, located in Ngaruawahia, is a charity supporting vulnerable youth and women through empowering well-being programs. Our goal is to help individuals develop life skills, confidence, and trust by working alongside our friendly horses.

As we expand our facilities to enhance these life-changing programs, we need your help! We’re looking for teams to assist with a range of tasks around the farm. It's a great opportunity for team-building and making a meaningful impact in the community.
Here's what we'll be tackling:

  • Tidying up the farm grounds to keep everything neat and safe
  • Repairing and building feed boxes for our beloved horses
  • Creating activity obstacles to enhance the farm's therapeutic programs
  • Laying paving tiles to improve pathways and outdoor spaces
  • Spreading mulch and possibly doing some concrete work
  • Erecting a new farm shed to support our growing needs
  • Assisting our Farm Operations Manager with everyday tasks around the farm
  • Getting hands-on in a fun, outdoor, team-building environment

The ideal team size is between 3-8 people, and we’re happy to work with you on scheduling. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves, get a little muddy, and support a great cause, get in touch with us today!

Requirements:
  • Great communicator – You’re able to share ideas and work together with ease, whether you're asking questions or offering suggestions!
  • Physically fit – Ready to roll up your sleeves and get active, whether it’s lifting, digging, or making things happen!
  • Hands-on helper – You love being in the thick of it, not afraid to get dirty or tackle a variety of tasks.
  • Team player – Comfortable working independently but also know how to pitch in and work seamlessly with a group.
  • Quick to follow instructions – You can listen, understand, and execute tasks confidently, making sure everything runs smoothly.
  • Own transport – You have your own way to get to the farm, ready to show up and make a difference!
