Hope Rising Farm is a charity in Ngaruawahia that runs well-being programmes for vulnerable youth and women. Provides an empowering journey for vulnerable youth and women to develop life skills, confidence, trust, and respect, by partnering with our friendly horses through a series of well-being programmes.
The farm is now entering stage 2 of developing their facilities to enhance the programmes they run
We are extending our farm and looking for teams for general building and for every day jobs around the farm. The best size of team is between 3-8 people. It can be brilliant team building exercise on the fresh air. The job includes :
• Tidying up
• Repairing and making feed boxes for horses,
• Making obstacles for activities,
• Laying paving tiles,
• Mulch and maybe concrete,
• Erecting farm shed,
• Helping farm operations manager with farm tasks
