Wondernauts is a not-for-profit community-focused early childhood educational facility based in the AgResearch - Ruakura campus, licensed for 50 children.
Wondernauts provides quality educational experiences that empower children to learn and grow through challenging and stimulating experiences. We prepare children for life-long learning and for ethical, productive participation in a democratic society and the global community.
We need you and a few colleagues (ideally a team of three to four people with a maximum of six) to prepare (clear items, waterblast, sand) and then give our storage garage & shed area, pergola, garden edges, and some play equipment, it's regular repaint, to keep it looking top notch and well maintained.
You could probably knock this off in one day, or spread it over two days if you prefer. Ideally you would come during our working week, but arrangements could be made to do it over a weekend.
Ideally you will have done prep and painting before, but one of our Garden/Maintenance team will be here and can give you some training and direction.
You will need some dexterity, as a couple of areas will need to be reached around the garden and the chicken coup.
You will need to be comfortable with our friendly chickens, as they live and roam free next to this area - but they won't bother you!
