About Us
Wondernauts is a not-for-profit, community-based Early Learning Centre committed to providing high-quality early childhood education. Our vision is to build a vibrant and connected community by supporting children, whaanau, and our team through exploration and hands-on learning, respect and creativity, lifelong learning and sustainability, and a deep connection to nature.We are looking for a volunteer to assist with a few small painting projects around our centre. One of the tasks includes painting the galvanised square mesh used in our vegetable garden areas, helping to improve both appearance and longevity.

This role supports our commitment to creating welcoming, well-maintained spaces for children, whānau, and staff.

What you'll be doing

  • Painting galvanised square mesh around our veggie garden areas
  • Assisting with other small painting touch-ups as needed
  • Following guidance to ensure a tidy, careful finish suitable for a childcare environment
Requirements:
  • Experience with painting preferred, but not essential
  • Willingness to follow instructions and work carefully
  • Able to take a tidy, thoughtful approach in a childcare environment
Time commitment:

Flexible — the repair can be done at a time that works best for you, and you can set the timeframe based on what feels realistic.
