For many seniors, technology can feel overwhelming. As a Digital Support Coach, you’ll provide calm, one-on-one support to help older people use their devices with more confidence.

This role involves:

  • Providing one-on-one support to seniors with smartphones, tablets, and laptops
  • Supporting confidence with everyday digital tasks such as email, internet use, and online safety
  • Working at each person’s pace using their own devices
Requirements:
  • Good English and strong communication skills, able to explain things clearly and simply
  • Patient, calm, and friendly when working one-on-one with seniors
  • Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and laptops
  • Good listening skills and respect for different learning styles
  • Reliable and able to commit to agreed times
  • Basic awareness of online safety and privacy
  • Experience working with seniors is a bonus, but not essential

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • Around 2–3 hours per fortnight
  • Flexible scheduling to suit both you and the person you’re supporting
  • Reliable attendance is important so seniors can count on your support
