The Refugee Orientation Centre (ROC) Trust is looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to support our Futsal Tournament on 21st December. Volunteers will help ensure the smooth running of the event and contribute to a positive experience for players, youth, and families.

Areas Where You Can Contribute:

(1) Scoring & Match Support:

  • Keep track of match scores
  • Assist referees on the sideline
  • Help manage game flow and transitions between matches

(2) Setup & Pack Down:

  • Assist with venue layout and equipment setup
  • Help arrange futsal courts, seating, signage, and gear
  • Support with packing down and restoring the venue after the event

(3) General Event Support:

  • Provide assistance to referees and event runners
  • Offer guidance to teams and spectators
  • Help maintain a safe, welcoming environment throughout the day

Whether you enjoy sports, event coordination, or simply want to contribute to a meaningful community event, we’d love to have you on board!

Requirements:
  • Enthusiasm for supporting community sports
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced event setting
  • Reliability and willingness to assist with physical setup/pack down
  • Comfortable working with youth and diverse community groups
  • Available on 21st December 2025.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • One full day on 21st December 2025
  • Optional support for brief pre-event planning or coordination (flexible)
