Do you love wandering outdoors, discovering new paths, and sharing a good conversation? We’re looking for a friendly local to join a young member with vision and hearing loss on their regular walks most weekdays.

It’s about exploring together, noticing the little things around you, and enjoying each other’s company. No formal experience needed, just a steady pace, curiosity, and a friendly smile.

Requirements:
  • Familiar with Thames and local walking routes
  • Comfortable walking for at least an hour per walk at a steady pace
  • Friendly, patient, and approachable
  • Available for a few short-term walks at flexible times
  • Willing to share your knowledge of the town

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • Flexible and can be discussed
  • Preferably a long-term commitment to build a regular routine
