Our Community Piano Project
The Remiano Charitable Trust rescues old pianos destined for landfill and gives them a new life as 'PlayMe' units for the community. What makes this project special is the creativity of local primary schools, who paint and decorate each piano — transforming it into both a musical instrument and a unique piece of community art.
Once restored and beautifully decorated, the pianos are placed in public spaces where anyone can sit down, play, and connect with others through music. These vibrant instruments become community touchpoints, sparking joy, creativity, and inspiration.
