Te Rongopai Community Trust (Good News Community Centre) offers a range of services aimed at meeting the needs of Nawton-Crawshaw and surrounding areas. We work in partnership with whānau to strengthen communities and individuals. We welcome everyone to enjoy our services.

Bring Beauty Back into our Centre!
We’re currently seeking a volunteer to help with gardening at our Community Centre every Monday from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

Tasks may include:

  • Weeding and light pruning of surrounding bushes and hedges.
  • Sweeping paths, keeping them clear of debris and rubbish.
  • General gardening and grounds maintenance.
  • All tools are provided onsite.

Requirements:
  • A positive, can-do, friendly attitude
  • Enjoys gardening and being outdoors
  • Gardening experience an advantage, but not essential
  • Reliable and honest worker
  • Excellent communicator
  • Have your own transport to and from the Centre to complete the job!

All tools are provided onsite for this role.

Time commitment:
  • 1 hour each Monday from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
