Morning Tea Volunteer – Cambridge RDA

Cambridge

Got a knack for making a good cuppa?
We’re looking for a lovely Cambridge local who wouldn’t mind popping in to help with morning tea at Riding for the Disabled.
It’s nothing flash - just putting the jug on, laying out the morning tea, having a chat with the volunteers, and tidying up after. Bit of a wipe, bit of a rinse, nothing too heavy.

If you enjoy a yarn, don’t mind a bit of kitchen pottering, and like being around good-hearted people doing something meaningful, we’d love to have you around. Even just one morning a week between 10:45 and 1:15 would make a difference.

No horse experience needed. Just a warm smile, and someone who enjoys being part of a good team.

Requirements:
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Enjoys a chat and making people feel welcome
  • Happy to help with light kitchen duties (e.g. setting up, wiping down, doing a few dishes)
  • Reliable – someone who’ll turn up when they say they will
  • Good sense of humour and community spirit
  • Likes being around people and feeling part of a team
  • Enjoys a bit of banter and being the friendly face in the room

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • Programme runs Tuesday to Friday during school term
  • Morning tea is between 10:30am and 11.30am
  • We’d love someone who can help one day a week, or more if you're keen
  • We’re flexible — you let us know what works for you
  • If we get a few volunteers, we can set up a simple little roster

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
