Volunteer Odoo Website Coordinator
Join us in building a social enterprise website and make a real impact by using your Odoo skills! This flexible volunteer role involves editing and managing our website, as well as teaching the manager how to use Odoo’s features.

What You’ll Get Involved With:

  • Managing website pages, product catalogues, and customer and membership integrations using Odoo
  • Guiding the manager through the basics of Odoo to ensure smooth ongoing site updates

The Challenge We’re Facing:

  • Our current site was built on WordPress but ran into major issues integrating customer and membership plugins with WooCommerce. After expert advice, we’re rebuilding with Odoo to avoid these problems.
  • An advisor started setting up the new Odoo site but is now too busy to continue, so we need your expertise to take over and keep the project moving.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Someone with experience using Odoo’s website builder and integration tools
  • Comfortable training or supporting others in Odoo

Requirements:
  • Confidence using Odoo (especially the website builder and backend modules)
  • Basic HTML knowledge — enough to tweak layouts, fix formatting, or embed content
  • Familiarity with WordPress — comfortable navigating the dashboard and understanding where things live
  • Ability to troubleshoot and suggest practical solutions when issues arise
  • An eye for clean design and user-friendly layouts (bonus if you enjoy UI/UX!)
  • Good communication skills — able to explain things clearly to a non-technical user (our manager)
  • Reliable and self-motivated — able to manage your own time and follow through on tasks

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • Around 1 month to get the main site up and running (depends on how many hours you can give each day)
  • Flexible hours — you can fit the work around your schedule
  • Ongoing tasks will follow as the site continues to grow and develop
