Love spotting great deals and have an eye for what sells? Join our team and help turn quality donated goodies into online sales. You’ll research prices, snap photos, write catchy descriptions, and manage listings on TradeMe and other sites — all while supporting reuse and sustainability.

The Fun Stuff You’ll Do

  • Picking out valuable donated items like collectibles, electronics, branded clothes, and rare books to sell online
  • Using online tools and past sales to set fair prices
  • Taking clear, attractive photos with your phone
  • Writing honest, engaging product descriptions
  • Creating and managing listings on TradeMe, Facebook Marketplace, and more
  • Keeping an eye on listings, answering buyer questions, and working with staff for packaging and pickups
  • Keeping simple records of what’s listed and sold

Requirements:
  • Strong English skills with excellent written communication — writing clear, engaging product listings is a must
  • Experience with or confidence using online marketplaces like TradeMe, eBay, or similar sites
  • Basic computer skills for researching and listing items
  • Comfortable using a camera or smartphone to take clear, attractive photos
  • Able to work independently, with support from the store team when needed
  • An interest in vintage, fashion, books, or collectibles is a bonus!
  • You’ll work closely with the Manager to get listings approved.
Time commitment:
  • Spend 1 to 2 hours at Here 2 Care HQ
  • Work 2 to 4 hours from home
  • Reference given depending on 6 months’ commitment and regularity
