Help Us Sort For A Good Cause!
Here 2 Care is a charitable trust dedicated to strengthening whānau and fostering a thriving hapori in Nawton. We have a community garage filled with pre-loved clothing, books, furniture and MUCH MORE! We are looking for dedicated volunteers to help us sort, organise, and present donated items, while offering a welcoming presence to our neighbours who stop by in need.

What You'll Do:

  • Sort, fold, and organise donated items such as clothing, books, and household goods.
  • Help curate displays to create a clean, welcoming shopping experience.
  • Greet and assist community members with warmth and respect.
  • Keep the garage tidy and restocked during open hours.

Requirements:
  • Reliable and able to commit to at least one shift per week
  • Comfortable with light physical tasks like folding clothes or moving items
  • Friendly, compassionate, and respectful toward all individuals
  • Retail experience would be an advantage, but not essential
  • Team players who enjoy a positive, community-focused environment
Time commitment:
  • At least ONE shift per week, Tuesday to Friday, 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM (3 hours)
