As a Volunteer Warehouse Chaos Coordinator at our boutique secondhand clothing and furniture store, you’ll become the mastermind behind keeping our energetic warehouse running like a well-oiled machine. From sorting and organising unique items to working with an enthusiastic team, you'll play a key role in making our store a go-to spot for sustainable, stylish treasures.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assist in organising, categorising, and labeling incoming inventory (clothing, furniture, accessories, etc.).
  • Implement creative systems to keep the warehouse organised and efficient.
  • Perform quality checks on items to ensure they meet the store’s standards before they are displayed or sold.
  • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse by regularly tidying spaces, disposing of trash, and managing any potential safety hazards.

Requirements:
  • Previous volunteer or work experience in retail, warehouse operations, or inventory management is a plus.
  • Experience with basic systems of inventory management and organisational tools (e.g., spreadsheets, labeling).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with team members, customers, and other volunteers.
  • Physical fit & able - there is some heavy lifting involved.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • 2-4 hours a week, for at least ONE day a week (during open hours)

Shop Open Hours
Wednesday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3.30 PM
First Saturday of the month, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
