Blind Low Vision Hamilton is looking for passionate volunteers to join our Central Hamilton Support Group. These groups are an essential part of our community, offering a safe and fun space where members can connect with others who truly understand their experiences.

What’s involved?

  • Support our sessions – Attend twice a week for just a few hours.
  • Help with morning teas & lunches – Lend a hand in preparing and serving.
  • Engage in fun activities – Get involved and make each session enjoyable for everyone.
  • Bring your positive attitude – Be ready to get involved and make a real difference.
    We welcome your creative ideas for craft activities and outings to keep things fresh and exciting.
Requirements:
  • Honest and reliable
  • Eager to be engaged and support our people
  • Can commit to attending on a regular basis
  • Volunteer induction, background check is required (we can arrange this)

Time commitment:
  • Monday and/or Thursday, 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM – You can choose one or both days
