Volunteer Drivers Needed

Volunteer Driver Role – Taku Wairua
Taku Wairua is dedicated to empowering young people through our Tupu and Kura programs. We are looking for volunteers to help with transportation for youth participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a work van for morning and afternoon pick-ups.
• Travel between Hamilton and the Morrinsville/Matamata area and back.
• Ensure safe and timely transportation while creating a positive environment for youth.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Passion for supporting youth development and community engagement.
• Your support will help guide young people towards leadership, success, and community involvement. Join us in making a meaningful difference!

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time Commitment:

• Approximately 2-4 hours per day for morning and afternoon pick-ups.
• 4-8 hours per week depending on the frequency of the program.
• Flexibility based on program schedule and travel time between Hamilton and the Morrinsville/Matamata area.
