We require a person with a genuine interest in the value of community agencies and the people who work there.
You will ideally have some familiarity with the audio software Audacity. But for the right person, we can provide some training.
You do not need to be a professional level audio engineer!
Just be able to cut, and resequence audio conversations is enough!
Therefore a keen interest and fluency in English is key.
You will be almost exclusively working from home.
You will need access to your own decent computer that is able to run Audacity audio software.
We mostly communicate online and work collaboratively uploading/downloading files.
And hence, you will need your own internet access.
We communicate via Signal.
You would be required to be willing and happy to install Signal on your smartphone.
We operate to tight deadlines.
You will have access to the raw interview by Thursday evening.
We ask that you complete the editing by the following Tuesday evening. Reliability in completing this is key.
We are mistake friendly.
We expect people to make mistakes and celebrate learning from them!
