Hato Hone St John Area Committees exist to provide a local voice to enhance the health and wellbeing of communities across Aotearoa New Zealand. This may include supporting existing Community Health Programs, as well as providing ideas for exciting new initiatives that address the needs of the community
We are currently looking for people with the following attributes, skills, and experience:
• A passion for the health and wellbeing of your local communities
• An understanding or awareness of the priority of health equity and the willingness to learn and increase personal cultural competency.
• Existing connections within the local community
• Ability to think creatively, collaboratively and work in partnership.
• Ability and willingness to lead a project or portfolio.
• Basic to medium level of computer literacy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Basic to medium financial literacy
• Taking and typing meeting minutes then distributing to the committee
• Assisting with room bookings
1 meeting per month.
Additional 3 - 5hrs per month flexible depending on events, administration tasks or Hato Hone St John Hui's
