Help support older adults who cherish their independence but enjoy the companionship of a caring community, work alongside a team of compassionate individuals, attending monthly meetings and collaborating on projects that benefit the community.

Create a Warm, Welcoming Home:

  • Help provide a safe, comfortable environment for 11 residents, giving them the support they need to live fulfilling lives in shared spaces.

Contribute to a Greater Purpose:

  • Play your part in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals by supporting a cause that fosters well-being and community.
Requirements:

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A motivated person who is comfortable communicating and building connections with others.
  • It is preferable that you are a Chartered Accountant or similar as the role demands strict auditing requirements (Tier 3).
  • You have strong ties to the local community and bring valuable governance experience.
  • You’re able to attend monthly meetings, currently held on Mondays at 5.30 PM.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • Attend monthly meetings.
  • Around 6 hours per month including fortnightly payments to our housekeepers and attending to other requirements of the role.
  • Lend a hand with activities organised by the committee whenever you can.
