We are looking for someone who has:
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand HR best practices, employment laws and regulations.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Understanding of HR processes and performance management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mediation skills.
• Provide expert advice and support on HR policies and practices including employment relations, remuneration, employee engagement, employment agreements, employment legislation, change management, performance management, team development and management/staff development.
• Build effective trusting relationships based on partnership with managers.
• Effectively identify and manage risks.
• Look for opportunities to improve people management processes and tools.
• Ad-hoc HR tasks.
