Face to Face Literacy Coach-Hamilton

We have found that the learners intend to practice their reading and writing - but do not.
So, as a Literacy Coach, you will help the learners practice reading, writing, and spelling weekly, generally for an half hour to an hour either once or twice a week.
We provide the training required to be able to coach students and create a personalised learning plan.
You work together to develop goals and select materials and activities to help learners reach their goals.

This role is very important, and by doing it, you can change an adult learners' lives and that of their family.

Requirements:
  • Excellent spoken English, reading and writing skills.
  • Must be fluent in English (verbal and written).
  • Reliable. Patient. Friendly personality.
  • We train you and give you all the support you need.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:
  • 1-2 hours weekly. preferably 2x 30 minute lessons during the day at a time suitable to the learner and coach
