New Volunteer Opportunity at the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB):

Role Overview:

  • Support our busy CAB by providing receptionist services during Justice of the Peace Clinic days.
  • Handle front desk duties and assist with answering phone calls for Client Interviewers working with clients.

Training and Induction:

  • Participate in an induction session covering duties, roles, and routines of the CAB.

Requirements:

Key Qualities:

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Additional Skills (Optional):

  • Basic computer skills are an advantage but not essential.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Preferred Commitment:

  • Ideally, one 4-hour shift per week on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday mornings.

Flexible Options:

  • We are happy to accommodate those with less availability, offering the option for fortnightly or monthly shifts.
