Become a "Good Bitch"

Cambridge, Morrinsville, Matamata, Te Awamutu, Raglan

Good Bitches Baking is seeking bakers to spread a bit of sweetness in the community. Ideally you will be able to:

  • Bake one batch of baking, once a month. What you bake is entirely up to you.
  • Drop off the baking during the week to the recipient organisation you are rostered to bake for. The organisations we bake for support people who appreciate the kindness and thoughtfulness of our bakers.
  • Complete a monthly availability survey in order for us to be able to roster you to bake once a month.

All baking is well received. You don't need to be a patisserie chef or have a big budget. The only common ingredient is care for the people you're baking for and all our Good Bitches put lots of this into everything they're baking.

Requirements:
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Have some form of transport available to you in order to be able to drop off the baking directly to the recipient organisation
  • You’ll need to supply your own ingredients. We’ll provide a cake box to put your baking in for delivery and an ingredients flyer so you can note what's in your treats and add a sweet note as well.
Time commitment:

We ask that all volunteers are able to commit to baking just once a month and to be able to deliver that baking directly to the recipient organisation located in your town. We expect baking deliveries to be on week days rather than weekends at this point - we are just getting established in regional towns so anticipate options for baking and delivering will increase.

Getting started:
The first step is to express your interest by filling out the form below. We will then put you in touch directly with the organisation for more information on the role and how to proceed.
