You will provide a warm welcome to people visiting our site.
Once you have become familiar with your role you will be able to explain the history of the Victoria Battery Site in a knowledgeable and interesting manner. If you enjoy providing an engaging customer experience, then this is the role for you. In return you will meet interesting people of all ages and backgrounds whilst volunteering in one of the most interesting visitor attractions in our region.
Ability to learn and an interest in the workings of the Victoria Battery Site and the production of gold.
Be able to relate history to people of all ages in a way which is interesting and memorable.
A good standard of conversational English is needed.
We are looking for reliable volunteers who enjoy working with a friendly team of others to showcase the history of our local area.
Training can be at any time. We are open Saturdays and Sundays 10.00am to 3.00pm. School Holidays and for any special and Arranged Tours
