Become a Salvation Army Family Store Volunteer and help us raise much needed funds to support the work of the Salvation Army in your local community.
You will be working alongside staff and other volunteers, sorting and processing donated goods ready for sale in the retail section of our Family Store. We will give you lots of support and assistance as you learn this role - you will be an expert before you know it!
This is a busy role with lots of satisfaction - especially seeing donated goods go through to eventual sale in the store.
We offer lots of flexibility to work around your availability.
We are looking for volunteers with a happy personality, who enjoy working in a supportive and fun, team environment. You need to be reliable, trustworthy and have lots of common sense.
Some heavy lifting may be needed, but is not necessarily a requirement. We welcome whatever skills and capabilities you have - we can find a job for you within the various tasks available in our store.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.
Morning 9am-1pm - Monday - Friday
Afternoon 1pm-5pm - Monday - Friday
9.30am - 1pm and 1pm -4pm Saturday
