MacGyver to the Rescue!

Hamilton

Waikato Equitherapy Incorporated provides horse riding and interaction for children and adults with special needs in Hamilton and the surrounding Waikato area. With a dedicated team of volunteers, committed staff, and a wonderful group of therapy horses, we offer a supportive environment where riders experience physical, emotional, and social growth.

It’s inspiring to see the progress our riders make each week, gaining confidence and joy from their time at the Centre. Waikato Equitherapy is also a place of belonging and support for our volunteers, those on work experience, and children who participate in our holiday programs. It’s a true community where everyone can connect and thrive.
