Enjoy meeting people and being part of a lively event?
Join the Waikato Rose Society team as a Front of House Volunteer for this year’s Daltons National Rose Show from 8th - 9th November at the Hamilton Garden Pavillion! You’ll be the friendly face that welcomes visitors, helps with ticket and raffle sales, and ensures everyone enjoys their time surrounded by the beauty of New Zealand’s finest roses.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Greeting guests and selling entry tickets, raffle tickets, and calendars.
  • Handling cash and EFTPOS payments (training provided).
  • Assisting the Show Managers and working closely with our friendly Rose Society team.

Come along for a day or the whole weekend — every friendly face helps make this event blossom! 🌹

Requirements:
  • Excellent people skills and happy interacting with the general public.
  • Good team worker.
  • Cash handling and numeracy skills.
  • Comfortable using an EFTPOS machine - you will be shown how it works.
Time commitment:
  • 8th November: 12.00pm - 5.00pm
  • 9th November : 9.45am - 4.00pm

*You can do one hour shift or consecutive shifts and more shifts over the entire weekend depending on your availability.
