Hospital Hosts – Providing a Warm Welcome and Support
Hospital Hosts play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and visitors. We are looking for additional volunteers, with a special focus on walking alongside people to help them reach their destination comfortably and stress-free. Many visitors may feel anxious, rushed, or overwhelmed—having someone to guide them makes a real difference.
Key responsibilities include:
✔ Greeting and assisting people as they arrive
✔ Providing clear way-finding support, including walking with visitors
✔ Helping people access wheelchairs
✔ Answering general hospital and car parking enquiries
✔ Offering friendly conversation and reassurance
This is a meaningful way to provide comfort and ease to those navigating the hospital. If you enjoy connecting with people and making their experience smoother, we’d love to have you on board!
