As a volunteer Content Creator, you’ll bring the Cake Detective story to life on social media—creating engaging photos and videos that grow our audience, support fundraising, and celebrate the community behind our mission.

What You Will Do:

  • Plan, create and publish engaging photo and video content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Film, edit and write short-form content including reels, tutorials and behind-the-scenes stories
  • Promote fundraising campaigns, events and ticket sales through creative social storytelling
  • Grow and engage the online community while celebrating supporters and volunteers
  • Bring fresh ideas, trends and creative direction to build the Cake Detective brand
  • Work independently and remotely, managing your own schedule and content planning.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in content creation is ideal.
  • Excellent communication skills and command of written English.
  • Details based with common sense and innovative.
  • A team player, bringing ideas to the table and working through them with other members of the team.
  • Work seamlessly as part of a team.
  • Proactive and forward thinking.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
Time commitment:
  • 2-4 hours per week, flexible
