Donations Assistant - Vinnies Frankton

St Vincent de Paul in New Zealand, tackles poverty in all its forms through the provision of practical assistance to those in need. We rely on volunteers to help us provide vital support to the community.

We are on the lookout for volunteers to join the Vinnies team who can spare a minimum of 4 hours or more a week here at our Distribution Centre.
This is a great opportunity to work in a wonderful team whilst contributing your time to help us raise vital funds for our Special projects.

This role requires you to sort through the donations that we recieve, to get them ready to be sold in store. We offer full training and you will be part of our health and safety induction program.

Requirements:

We need energetic volunteers to help sort and prepare donated goods for our stores.
Reliable, honest, and trustworthy.
A great attitude and ability to work in a team.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

You need to do at least one shift per week with the option of doing more if you have availability.
You can choose any week day and either a morning or afternoon shift.
Monday - Friday
Morning (9 am - 12pm) or Afternoon (12 pm - 2 pm)
*Flexibility with hours can be discussed with our store manager.
